Daily Tarot Reading-11/18/2020

From “The Good Tarot” app by Colette Baron-Reid

Good morning Blessed Manifestation family! Memories serve us in many ways, and no they are not to haunt or torture us. They serve a purpose, to help us understand experiences in different ways. They also help to prepare us for future circumstances. There is much to learn and gain from the past, as long as we remember not to stay there.

Both the past and future lack substance in the here and now. The past had its moment, and the future has yet to be. There is only the present; this is where your power is. I know it’s tempting to want to go back to “the good old days”; those moments that are long gone but were good. Or maybe they weren’t that ‘good’, but you felt safe there because it was a familiar state. When memories come to your awareness today, ponder for a moment why. What message does that past moment have for you? Could it be warning you of a trap you’ve fallen into before?

You can’t plant seeds in a place that has no substance. You cannot create anything in the past. Longing for what once was is a fantasy that cannot come true, but you can re-create those fond memories in the present. I often re-read books I loved growing up, or re-watch my favorite movies; nostalgia is comforting, as long as you remain grounded in today. Ground yourself in what is so you won’t get swept up by the mists of what once was (but can never be again).

Some of you may be feeling grief; possibly you are remembering loved ones who’ve passed or moved on from your life, or circumstances from before. Give yourself time and space to grieve, and process. But also give yourself permission to heal, and move on. You will, in time.

Pay attention to the intuitive messages arriving your way, because they have important insights to share with you.

Have a blessed day all!
