Good morning Blessed Manifestation family! The Knight of Swords is often considered an “impetuous youth”; he acts before he thinks–rushing into battle without a strategy. But sometimes rushing in is the best approach to take.
Yesterday’s reading discussed making up your mind about an important change, and sticking with your decision. Now is the time to boldly go forward in the direction of the decision you made. Use some of the Knight’s energy to give you the courage to charge ahead, despite any doubts that come up.
Notice how as adults many of us will get trapped in fear–we freeze up at any thoughts of doubt, deterring us from moving forward. We think things over a million times, weighing out the pros and cons, so much so that we become our own obstacles. Whereas in our youth, we may have done things without thinking them through. We didn’t really care about the consequences of our actions, or we didn’t fully grasp them. Either way, those adult burdens weren’t as intense when we were younger. Today channel your younger self and allow them to help you move forward with your choice. As well, if you’ve always been cautious in your life, try something radically different to initiate a blessed change in your life.
Whichever path you take, move forward in faith. You’re right, you don’t know how things will end up. You may be afraid to go down an unknown path, like driving through a snowstorm. But as long as you keep moving forward, you will eventually get to where you need to be. Keep moving, even if you have to stop once in a while to catch your breath.
It’s important at this juncture to make a decision. If you’re afraid of failure, there’s a quote I heard actor Will Smith say once, and it was “fail fast”. Life is about movement and trying new things; we learn by trying. To not move is not living at all. If you want to live life fully, you’ll have to accept the fact that sometimes you might “fail” at something, though nothing is a failure if you learn the lesson. But “failing fast” means you go forward and give it your all, and even if you meet failure, you will get there much quicker as long as you keep moving. When you meet that challenge, you can decide to turn a new page and try something else. Plus you never know what’ll happen; a closed door could mean an open window elsewhere. Change your attitude about “failing” and know that even failure can be transformed into success.
