Good morning Blessed Manifestation family! We continue to release what no longer serves us, to make room for the new. I want to continue the point I made in yesterday’s reading about setting boundaries. Now that we are asked to stay home more often, it can be even more stressful when living with others. It can be challenging to set boundaries when sharing space and energy, but it is necessary.
If you are sharing space with others, try to be clear about the physical boundaries for the rooms; what is private space and what is communal space? What is open to others and what is off-limits? My friends with children, I know it’s easier said than done to set space boundaries with the kids, but for your own well-being, you need a space. I live in NYC so I know what it’s like to live with others in a small apartment. Maybe you don’t have a private room, but you can set private moments, in the bathroom for example. Just because you’re a caretaker does not mean all of your time has to be shared with others.
As well, clearing the physical clutter can help your spaces feel like they are bigger; you’ll have more space to breathe and move. Think about it this way, if we get hit with another serious wave of Covid, and we all have to quarantine again, can you see yourself being good with the current state of your home? Or does it make you cringe to think about staying home? Your home is a sanctuary, or at least it should be. If you have the power to do so, make the necessary changes to turn your home into a sacred, and safe space.
For some of you who have recently ended a relationship, the time has come to make space for new love. The current items who are holding on to; the pictures and reminders…are you holding on to them because they are actually meaningful for you, or because you’re still holding on to the hope that the fire between you will be rekindled? It’s time to make decisions based on what you know here and now. Holding on to the past is just that. It’s holding on to something that does not exist in the here and now. Make room for something new, and better.
Have a blessed day all, and if you connected with this reading please follow me on Instagram @BlessedManifestation or like my page on Facebook; your support is much appreciated. Thank you!
