Today is the Feast Day of our Lady of Mount Carmel.
Believe it or not I had a visitation from Her, last summer. She came to me during a very dark period in my life. I knew it was Mother Mary when She came, but I didn’t know which form or veneration.
She wore a rich brown dress which an olive cape, and a golden crown. She held a banner that said something like courage and strength, and she said she was Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. I had never heard of her before that moment, so as soon as I woke up from the trance I looked her up, and she turned out to be the real deal!
I gathered that she was telling me that I was stronger than I knew. That I had the strength and courage to overcome anything, and She was helping me. She lifted me out of the darkness and since then I have prayed to Her to help me overcome obstacles, and for protection against harm and evil. Below is my favorite prayer to Her.
If today you are needing a Divine intervention, let Her know.
Happy Feast Day Our Lady of Mount Carmel!
Prayer
O most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel,
fruitful vine, splendor of Heaven, Blessed Mother of the Son of God,
Immaculate Virgin, assist me in my necessity.
O Star of the Sea, help me herein and show me here you are my Mother.
O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth,
I humbly beseech you from the bottom of my heart to succor me in my necessity. (make request)
There are none that can withstand thy power.
O Mary, conceived without sin,
pray for us who have recourse to thee (three times).
Holy Mary, I place this cause in your hands (three times).
