Welcome everyone to the last full week of December–the last week of 2024! We’ve just recently entered into Capricorn season, marking the start of Winter Solstice here in the Northern Hemisphere. This week there will be lots of activity, so it’s important to stay grounded so you won’t get overwhelmed with all that’s going on.
This will be a wonderful week to wrap up any projects and conclude any chapters we don’t want to carry with us into the new year. You may be busier at work or at home with holiday activities. Some places in the northeast may be dealing with a winter storm–be sure to not take on too much this week and remain flexible with your schedule. Prioritize what’s most important, especially any financial affairs.
This weekend will be wonderful to prepare yourself and your home energetically, to welcome the final New Moon (in Capricorn) of 2024. This will be a rare and auspicious black moon, helping you establish your goals for 2025. Look ahead with enthusiasm and hope.
Beginning of the week:
I can see that many of you will be dealing with a lot of people this week, even ones you may not want to interact with. This could be related to work or family gatherings, where you may be interacting with folks you don’t care for. Use Capricorn energy to stay grounded in your personal power to not be thrown off by the energy of others.
Remember that these holy and celebratory days are meant to be about the community. Holidays aren’t about how many gifts you can buy and how much stuff you’ve amassed. You may not have the funds to buy what you want or maybe you don’t receive the gifts you desired, but remember every blessing you have to be grateful for. Material goods are wonderful to have but true wealth is an inside job.
P.S: if you’re planning to do any last minute Christmas shopping, it will be quite a struggle for you. Give yourself time and be very patient with everyone, since communal stress is very high right now.
Middle of the week:
As we wrap up the year you may contemplating what you’ve accomplished. You might be feeling disappointed that things didn’t pan out the way you wanted them to. Maybe the plan you had this year didn’t work or you feel you didn’t do enough–don’t be so hard on yourself! There’s plenty to look forward to.
Spirit reminds you that life isn’t all about accomplishing goals. Yes it feels great to reach certain milestones and succeed, but there’s more to life than that. Take a moment to reflect on the smaller blessings you may be taking for granted–you have much more to be grateful for than you think. By cultivating an “attitude of gratitude” you’ll shift your perspective to benefit you.
If you’re feeling the holiday blues–maybe you’re spending them alone, or are grieving the absence of loved ones–Spirit advises you to use this moment to fuel your future. Think about how you envision your holiday season in 2025 to be–let that vision be your guide when it comes to setting goals for next year. Also some of you in this category may be celebrating next holiday season with a new family member! Stay positive.
End of the week:
Rome wasn’t built in a day, and while the empire doesn’t exist today in the way it did back then, its legacy still has a powerful influence on us. With that being said, your empire can also thrive and leave a lasting legacy, but it will take time, effort, and community. Spirit wants you to know that just because things haven’t worked out exactly how you’ve envisioned, it doesn’t mean you need to give up on your dreams. Take breaks, rest, adapt and pivot. When opportunity comes knocking, you’ll be ready.
With respect to romantic relationships–if you are looking to create a lasting marriage/partnership, you have to be patient with yourself and your partner. Everything between you will be a give and take; emotions will ebb and flow. Learn how to swim the waters of the energy between you rather than try to fit your unique relationship into a box that works for another couple–there’s no comparison.
