10 Amazon Products to Help with Anxiety

Everyone has their own way of dealing with stress, anxiety, and panic; these are some products which have helped me tremendously.

I’ve been dealing with intense anxiety and panic since 2019, and because I’m a problem-solver I really was motivated to try all kinds of tools and remedies (natural remedies preferred) to help me not only deal with the anxiety, but to hopefully overcome it.

Anxiety heightens the senses; it puts you on alert for danger. Because of this, everything feels, smells, and sounds more intensely. I found that using essential oils such as lavender, or eucalyptus helped to ground me. I found this desk humidifier (which also helps to combat dryness and allergies) and I put a few drops of my favorite oil into the holder. It diffuses the scent and creates a calming mood.

This product was recommended to me by my Acupuncturist, who had to close her studio during the pandemic. I was so glad to receive relief, while at home in quarantine. As a result from working from home, my neck, back, and wrist were overworked. Acupuncture has helped me in multiple ways, even with soothing the effects of anxiety, so this mat has been a lifesaver when I was not able to get acupuncture.

When I’m in an anxious state, every single discomfort I feel in my body makes me nervous, so being able to easily remove some discomfort, such as neck aches, can help to calm me down. This mat is also great for grounding, since you become hyper aware of the positioning of your body on the mat. It takes a little getting used to, especially if you’ve never tried acupressure techniques, but it is worth a try.

Sleep is essential, but often hard to get when dealing with anxiety. I do also incorporate other products to help me sleep, such as Melatonin–the trick is to try different things to see what works for you. Drinking something warm before bed does calm me down, but sometimes tea is not enough. I found this Golden Moon Milk, which is tasty and has anti-inflammatory properties. It’s healing and also does contain relaxing herbs, and adaptogens to help you sleep.

Try also cutting back on caffeine, to help you get to sleep much faster at night, and stay asleep.

Speaking of Adaptogens, Ashwagandha is very popular (and effective) against stress and anxiety. This product was gifted to me and I have loved it ever since. Sometimes you just need a little something to help you feel stable and get through the day. I found that this supplement not only helps me feel stable, but sometimes I even feel a little boost of happiness.

I love using crystals for healing work. I actually recently learned about the power of magnetic therapy to help balance the body. I’ve been using magnesium oil for cramps in my legs, but I learned about the many other uses, such as using it as a deodorant. But one of the best benefits is that it helps you calm down, and even sleep! When I need an extra punch to the melatonin I take to help me sleep, I add on some magnesium oil to my legs. I don’t use all of these products every day, or altogether. I do mix things up; sometimes using two or three of these tools at a time, depending on how I’m feeling. I use the 5-HTP the most, along with the Cup of Sunshine Tea, which is why they are my top-2. You don’t need to be experiencing anxiety to use any of these products, but they definitely help if you are dealing with it.

Be patient with yourself and your body as you learn to navigate this phase (because yes it is just a phase).
