The theme for the week is the home. Now that we’re in Libra season, its ruler Venus is inviting us to beautify are homes. This can look like decluttering, cleaning, and also adding decorative touches. What can you do this week to turn your home into more of a sanctuary? And if you no longer connect with your home–maybe you are desperate to move out but aren’t sure how–take this time to consider how you can make your space more acceptable for you.
I know how hard it is to live somewhere you don’t connect with, but trust me when I tell you, the more you personalize your space, the more comfortable it becomes for you. The comfort isn’t meant for you to stay but rather to help give you the energy (motivation, enthusiasm) to move. Follow the Queen of Pentacle’s lead and make use of what you have while you have it. Turn your lemon into lemonade, using the power this Libra season has to offer.
Some of you may be receiving long-awaited news about a new home–possibly being able to buy or sell. Some of you may have an unexpected expense for house repairs–if you haven’t done so already, please consider getting insurance for your home.
Soon there will be cause for celebrations so make sure your home is a welcoming space for new blessings.
Beginning of the week:
Why do you feel you have to do everything yourself? There are people around you who either want to help you and/or have the ability to assist in some way, but you have to communicate your needs. Don’t sit around waiting for someone to offer help–be proactive and ask for the assistance you need. And even if you think you can do it all on your own, know that you do not have all the resources to do so. Spirit shows me that many of you are exhausted and almost at the point of burn-out. Open yourself up to being supported.
Some of you may be feeling alone and like you don’t have anyone to ask for help, but this is not the case. Spirit advises you to pause and really assess your resources. Maybe there’s not a specific person you can reach out to, but is there a community-based organization in your area you can ask for guidance? Can you turn to one of the many online communities for answers? You have A LOT more support than you think! Expand your mind to see what you’ve been overlooking.
Middle of the week:
I’ve been hearing this phrase on social media a lot lately–“create more than you consume“–and this advice will help you now. Venus may be influencing you to spend more of your hard-earned coins on things you don’t need, and while it’s wonderful to splurge on yourself once in a while, remember that you still need to watch your spending. And this applies especially to those of you who own a home because some of you may be met with unexpected expenses soon.
If you really want to have extra shopping money you may need to consider getting a side hustle of some sort. For many of you this may look like content creation work, or possibly starting a side business–some of you already sell things or have some monetized hobby outside of your regular job–pour a little bit more into this so you can get more back. And then anything you make from your side hustles can be your reward money, to buy more of the things you like. One of my favorite side hustles? Getting rewarded for shopping and playing games on Fetch. It’s free to join and if you register using my referral code (BKYWH1), you’ll get 2,000 points to get you started!
End of the week:
This weekend we will welcome a Full Moon in Aries, granting us the courage to cut off false ties and attachments that no longer serve us. Mama Moon will shine a light on the areas in your life that need decluttering. Because this week’s theme is the home, start there. Get rid of things that are no longer needed, but please don’t just discard things senselessly. Donate items in good condition to a Goodwill or other organizations/charities that are accepting. Or check your local “Buy Nothing” group to see if someone can take the items off your hands. Discard what you don’t need but do so responsibly.
Some of you may be “discarding” certain relationships that have become burdensome. Every relationship has give and take but some may take a lot more than they give. Some of you may even need to declutter your “friends” on social media–not everyone needs to have access to your life.
