Whew child! This Aries/Eclipse season has been a doozy so far! In New York City we experienced an Earthquake on the 5th and as I’m writing this I am wondering what other surprises are in-store for us as we welcome a New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries on the 8th. This eclipse is a total eclipse, which is rare–Mama Moon will block the Sun for a few minutes, leaving us all in a bit of darkness as she casts her shadow over us. So what does this all mean for us, spiritually?
Traditionally humans have been fascinated by the celestial happenings around us, and have often used religious or spiritual context to give these occurrences meaning–to help us understand what’s going on. This also means that, unfortunately, many folks use spirituality to promote fear mongering. We’ll always be dealing with the unexplainable and just because it doesn’t make sense to us doesn’t mean that it’s evil or that we should be afraid. As well, the current fear mongering taking place has a lot to do with continued fear (misunderstanding) around the Divine Feminine aspect in our lives. Women’s “mysteries” have usually been dismissed or retold as evil, in this toxic-masculine matrix of ours. Creation creates in the dark–in the dark of the womb, in the dark of the soil, in the dark of space–the darkness holds the seeds of potential. Once the potential manifests in the material, the light can then nourish its existence. So please understand, we need both light and dark aspects in life.
Now that’s not to say don’t be careful, cautious, or vigilant when needed, but panic and paranoia won’t help. This is why looking within is super important, and I would even say necessary. The more you know yourself, the more grounded in your power (and truth) you will be. Anyone who is not “connected” to themselves, will believe in the fear and therefore give their power away—let’s just say, there are those who thrive off of our fear, but that’s a story for another day.
This week we have something to learn about our material circumstances. We might experience situations that we may think we’re ready for, but we’re not 100% sure about. Because Mercury is also in retrograde I caution against jumping into anything new without triple checking first. As well, some of you may be offered some kind of opportunity that you’re not sure you’re qualified for, but Spirit assures that you are. This is the moment you’ve been waiting for; take things step by step. Some of you are also being urged to focus on your new home–you may be wanting to move, so make this your priority.
At the start of this week many of you will be receiving a return on your investments. This may come in the form of a raise, money you’ve been waiting on, or some other opportunity that will be financially rewarding. This has all come about in large part because of the work you’ve done. If you’re seeking to reinvest, make sure to think long-term. Plan ahead and ask for help if you need it.
You may be wanting to move on or forward from something but are feeling stuck. I mentioned earlier in this post that some of you have been wanting to move, but you’re not sure how to go about it. Maybe you feel stuck financially or you don’t know how to buy a home. Spirit assures that divine help is on the way. You will gain the clarity you need to know what next steps to take, or someone may come to your aid to guide you. I highly recommend doing some Crown and 3rd eye Chakra work to help clear the mental clutter that is blocking you.
Last but not least I do see some new relationships for some of you. You may be crossing paths with someone this week who can be a potential new mate. Trust your instincts with this person–they are spot on. This person may even be the answer to your prayers. This person could also be a platonic partner who could help you get to the next level you’ve been working towards, but I mainly feel this being a romantic connection. If you already have your person, things between you may become more solidified this weekend. Don’t be afraid to take a leap of faith towards the direction of your dreams!
