Because yesterday’s reading spoke about finances, and today’s card as well speaks about financial security, this week’s shifts will be related to your material world. These Universal shifts will affect how you approach your finances. You’ll either lean towards the tried and true methods; the traditional. Or you’ll decide all of that is boring and you’ll create your own set of rules for how to increase your income. Either way, follow what inspires you.
Maybe you were a business owner who recently had to close up shop; consider going back to school or using your talents to find a lucrative position within your field. Or maybe you’ve been working at the same company for years, with little growth, and are ready to break free from corporate America to start your business–go for it! Again, the key here is to pay attention to a) which path feels attractive to you, and b) what the people who inspire you are doing. There is no one true path towards wealth and success–you have to make your own way.
But most importantly the King of Earth (aka King of Pentacles) is heralding a new energy for your finances; this is about new opportunities, new jobs, promotions, business ideas…allow your dreams and desires to show you the yellow brick road. This King is all about working hard and playing hard; fully enjoying the fruits of his labor. While this financial shift will have its moments of challenge, it’s all to strengthen you. Remember, challenges aren’t necessarily a “bad” thing; they help us grow. This time is all about growth–personal and professional. Be confident in your skills and talents, and know that yes you can have the wealth and success you desire.
