Sometimes the answer is just No, or “not right now”; accept that. If you are trying and trying to have something work out the way you want it to, and the outcome keeps disappointing you, just accept it for what it is–a closed door. We don’t know everything that goes on behind the scenes; sometimes when the road is blocked, it’s to protect you from looming disaster.
When an obstacle presents itself on our path, we can try to overcome it, understand it, hate it, or just let it be. Can you view this current block that you’ve been unable to overcome as an opportunity to shift your perspective? Do you really want to force your way through just to see what’s on the other side, or can you trust that this block is for your highest good? This is an opportunity for you to see what you’ve been missing.
When we become fixated on a certain outcome, we lose out on millions of other possibilities, especially ones that may be even better than what we want. Even if you feel things didn’t go your way, they did. It sucks that you didn’t get that job, or that relationship you wanted, but guess what? That only means something even better is on the way; let that be enough to quench your need to be right. This isn’t a fight between you and The Universe; you will always have what you need, as long as you are open to receive. For many of you, this block is just a temporary setback; be patient. At least for today, move on.
Be careful with envy; it is a dangerous toy to play with. Avoid the temptation to compare your life to others, and want what someone else has. There’s someone right now wishing they had what you have; don’t engage in those cycles of lack when there’s so much Abundance all around us. This is the moment to dig deep and be humble about how blessed you are; to be grateful for everything you have. React to this circumstance with grace because this is only a miniscule moment on your journey. You’ve already encountered many ‘No’s’ on your path, but also many ‘Yes’s’; your Yes will come again.
Lastly, be sure to use all of the tools you have at your disposal. The way might be blocked for now, but you might have something in your arsenal that can help you clear the path. Just remember that not everything is meant to work out exactly the way you want it to, so keep trying to move forward, but do so with flexibility and detachment, not force and obsession.
