For the past few weeks there has been a message of tapping in to the Divine Feminine, and at this point I feel confident in saying that the DF is making a comeback. We have feminine and masculine energies within us, but we have all been conditioned to worship the masculine part of ourselves, especially in Capitalist societies. Unfortunately most of us are used to witnessing toxic masculinity–violence, aggression, competition, etc. The Divine Feminine has been working quietly in the background but it looks like she’s ready to make her appearance.
The feminine within us all teaches us to wait gracefully for things to come to us–this is the yin energy. It’s not about being passive, but rather to acknowledge that there’s no need to rush, compete, or force things to happen. The Divine Feminine is wise and knows what her inheritance is; what her worth is. She understands the ebbs and flows of the Universe. If you’ve felt the massive wave from Monday’s Full (Scorpio) Moon, then the message for you is to get in touch with your emotions and intuition–the harder the wave hit you the more tapping in you have to do.
Toxic masculinity has taught us that the feminine is weaker, and so many of us don’t get in touch with our emotions and intuition because we don’t want to be perceived as weak. But that is far from the truth. By tapping in to what’s inside of you; by being bold enough to face your inner truth, you are actually much stronger than you think. Diving in to the ocean of our emotions is no easy task! Today the Divine Feminine invites you to not be afraid to express what you feel; everything you feel is valid and should be honored. But the expression doesn’t necessarily have to be with another; you can express your inner truths to yourself–acknowledge what is happening inside of you.
One of the best ways to tap in to the feminine within you is to connect with Spirit. Think of the masculine as the physical (matter) and the feminine as the spiritual (energy); both still have their place with Spirit but the feminine shows us the way. Pay attention to the subtle signs Spirit sends your way today, and don’t be afraid to commune with the Divine.
Today is not one for actions but instead for observation. Whatever comes up for you today, pay attention. There’s no need to solve problems or figure things out; everything will make more sense in due time. Most importantly be patient with yourself and others today, even more so than other times. We are all still raw from the Pink Moon and recovering. Let the Divine Feminine comfort you and heal your wounds.
