Many energetic shifts will be happening this week; this weekend in particular. We will have a New Moon in Sagittarius, marking the end of one season and the entry point into another. This is significant because this will be the last New Moon of 2025, giving us the opportunity to release attachment and attention to what no longer serves us, in order to make space for new chapters happening in 2026. Then on Sunday the 21st the Sun enters Capricorn, marking the start of this earthly season, and this will also be the longest night of the year since we will be entering winter (in the Northern hemisphere that is). We are shifting from the Fall/Sagittarius fire, into the stark cold of Winter/Capricorn season. It’s time to lock-in!
While there may be a lot of movement happening around you, and you may become busier than usual, this is more of a time for strategy versus implementation. Complete any projects or tasks which you’ve had pending for a while now, because soon you will be taking on new endeavors.
Spirit also wants you to be cautious with your spending and investments. The closer we get to Capricorn season, the stronger the pull of the material world. You may be inclined to either spend more, or invest in some “get rich quick” scheme. Capricorn teaches us that there are no shortcuts in life. Take each challenge bit by bit–slow and steady always finishes the race. Some of you need to be extra vigilant when it comes to investing or borrowing money (especially if you’re already in debt). Some “deal” may be tempting for you, but not all that glitters is gold.
Beginning of the week:
New opportunities may be heading your way. This could look like a new job, new clients, or new investment opportunities. Use your head and combine forces with those who can help you map out your strategy. Collaboration will be a key ingredient to solving any workplace or business challenges.
Capricorn energy also teaches us the value of long-term planning and investing. Look ahead with enthusiasm, but also with a bit of detachment. Now is not the time to jump into anything new just because it feels exciting. Take your time with creating a plan of action and remember to ask for help, especially from people in high places who can offer you valuable insight.
Some of you are overdue for a chat with your supervisor with respect to a raise or promotion–plan out what you want to say and make your pitch once we officially enter Capricorn season. They may not be so willing to give more, but make sure to point out how valuable of an asset you are to them.
Middle of the week:
The holidays are a busy time for many, but please make sure to take care of yourself. Don’t forget to make time for rest and recovery, and remember what’s actually important. Yes gifts and parties are fun, but the simple pleasures in life, like spending time at home with your family, can also be just as lovely. Remember what your priorities are, and stick to them without adding more “burdens” to your already heavy load. If you are able to, clear what’s unnecessary from your calendars.

Some of you with children are feeling overwhelmed. You’ve been pouring so much into others with your nurturing ways, but how do you pour into yourself? You need a serious time-out to regroup. Consider asking for help; possibly reach out to a loved one to help you with chores around the house, or to babysit so you can have some “me time”. This isn’t a suggestion–it’s a priority.
End of the week:
I see a lot of movement taking place this weekend, in the material and energetic sense. You may actually be planning a trip or taking one soon, or you are planning on making a move of some sort. This shift is supported and you will receive the assistance you need. Some of you may be feeling that you don’t have the money to move or travel, but trust that the funds are on the way…somehow (the “how” is not your domain).
Some of you may be receiving some unexpected money soon, and this will be what you need to implement certain changes in your life. Use this time to visualize where you see yourself a year from now, and work backwards to figure out your next step. You may also benefit from speaking to a professional, such as an accountant or life coach, to help you receive the practical guidance needed to move forward with your intentions.
