This is a week of transits. Changes are happening to align us towards what we want to achieve, and sometimes alignment requires a change in direction. You may have reached a certain “endpoint” with a current trajectory and are considering whether or not to shift gears. For example, you may be contemplating a new area of study, a new career path, a new hobby, or even wanting to move homes. Just know that a shift doesn’t necessarily mean the “end” of something. You don’t have to cut off ties or “burn bridges” to start something new. And I get the sense this shift will be gradual and organic anyway, so no need to force anything to happen.
Because we’re still in Mercury’s retrograde (plus some other interesting transits happening), I caution against making major decisions at this time. As I mentioned in last week’s reading, this is not the time to rush into anything new (or rush out of something). Weigh your options carefully and patiently.
Some of you may have recently graduated and are considering which career path would be the most successful for you. There’s no wrong answer here as long as you continue to follow your instincts. And remember, you can always change your mind and “start over” if you need to. You can master any career path and still be a life-long learner. Stay open to the possibilities.
Beginning of the Week:
“Don’t give up though the pace seems slow…” is part of a line from one of my favorite poems. We tend to get restless and frustrated when things don’t appear to be in motion for us, but Spirit assures there is activity going on behind the scenes.
Something you’ve been waiting on has been taking its time getting to you, and you’ve been wondering whether it will make it to you at all. You haven’t failed; things are working out for you. Things are moving slower because they are being ordered–getting all the pieces ready to make their way to you. Try shifting your focus on something else for the time being, so you don’t stay frustrated (which only blocks your progress). Shift towards more gratitude for what’s in your present. Appreciate all the blessings here and now, and that may help speed things along for you.

Middle of the Week:
Some of your “packages” will be arriving soon. This could include information, messages, opportunities, or even material gain of some sort. This package will give you a much needed boost to look ahead with enthusiasm. For some, I see this being a pay raise or some kind of financial increase–possibly money you weren’t expecting. If this gift is money-related, Spirit advises you to invest in yourself–invest in something nice and fun for you. Some of you may want to share this gift with a loved one, such as taking them out to a fancy restaurant for dinner.
I also want to share some money advice with you, which has helped me so much with my own finances. Monetary gain doesn’t come from a place of frustration. I get how hard it is to have a positive outlook when times are hard, but it is also necessary to lift you out of despair. Start by remembering everything you have to be grateful for–see the cup as half-full, if it’s not full all the way. Maybe your home is not in the best shape, but you have a roof over your head. Maybe food has been scarce, but you had something to eat today. In lean times I’ve learned to use all available resources–that may include asking for help or accepting it when offered. Put your pride to the side and get the help you need when you need it, because there is truly an abundance of opportunities out there for you. If you don’t see that now, just know you will soon enough as long as you stay the course.
End of the Week:
A powerful partnership is making its way to you. This could be a business relationship or a romantic one–this is a strategic alliance, no matter how it presents itself to you. With any relationship you’ll want to take things slow and steady. Get to know one another and your communication styles. Try your best to be a neutral observer rather than forming an opinion right away. As well, don’t go by first impressions at this time–we’re all fumbling these days in one form or another.
This new person will give you a “leg up” in different areas of your life. In a business/career sense, this person may be the ally you need for success. In the romantic sense, this person may show you a kind of safety and stability you hadn’t experienced before. Use this weekend to set aside some time for this person so you can continue to build a bond in an organic way.
