
Happy Gemini season everyone! Gemini energy can feel exhilarating at times but if you don’t take time to rest you may easily get overwhelmed, or find yourself exhausted. Heavy-hitter Saturn has now moved into Aries–Saturn moves slow and takes its time but in Aries may feel rushed. This slow-moving planet does not like to be rushed so there may be moments of “tension” during this transit, depending on where Saturn is in your astrological chart. This week we’re going to be receiving solutions to our material challenges. You may be blessed with ideas to earn some extra money or some other help may come your way. You’ve been very patient with whatever this challenge is and now is the time to reap the rewards for your persistence. You may also receive a much needed boost of energy to charge ahead with your projects, but before you dive in take some time to adjust to the current energies. Give your body and mind a chance to adapt.
Beginning of the week:
This week’s New Moon in Gemini is happening at the very start–there’s some preparation required before we will be ready to welcome a new beginning. Use the next few days to rest and reset, and as I’ve mentioned many times before, stay out of the drama! If it doesn’t involve you or is not a priority, stay out of it. This is not the time to be “booked and busy”. You need to recharge your batteries in order to deal with the coming momentum.
Resting now will help you in the long-term, especially with your health. Take some time this week to detox, eat healthier (as much as you can), stay hydrated, and make sleep a priority. Say NO to anything that doesn’t fuel you whenever you are able to. The start of this week is for self-care and rejuvenation, in order to get charged for the shifts taking place.
Some of you may want to consider meal prepping and planning for the days ahead. You might not have as much time as you’re used to, to prepare meals, so plan ahead whenever possible.
Middle of the week:
Hopefully you made rest a priority because things will be picking up soon. We are coming out of hermit-mode and into a very social Gemini season. You may be receiving invitations to parties and celebrations over the coming months. Many of you will be preparing to travel–things may be happening fast, so buckle up!
Remember that you don’t have to say YES to everything. Just because you have energy and enthusiasm now doesn’t mean you will later on. It’s important to only commit to the events and projects you will be consistent with. Some of you may be tempted to overcommit and Spirit warns that your health will take a toll if you do. You’ll know this message applies to you if you’ve been putting off seeing your doctor or following through on the health habits you’ve already been warned about. Stop ignoring the signals your body has been sending!
Some of you may want to take it easy on the drinking (alcohol). Your tolerance may not be as high as it used to be, so drink in moderation. For some reason Spirit is showing me that it may be easier for you to get drunk at these social gatherings so try to sip slowly.
If you’ve been considering going sober for health reasons, now is the time to heed this advice.
End of the week:
As we exit May and enter June, more opportunities (and allies) may be presenting themselves. This weekend you may be offered a job or have the chance to earn some extra bucks. This may also be a wonderful time for networking–you may end up meeting someone who could become a client or business partner, or mentor. This person could help take your career to the next level.
If you’ve been considering asking for a raise or promotion, take the steps at the end of this week to approach your supervisor to pencil in a conversation with them. Now is the time to share all the reasons why you’re an asset and why you deserve what you are asking for.
Some of you single folks may be approached this weekend by a potential romantic partner, but this person may not be your “cup of tea” at first. They may not be the type you are physically attracted to, but give them a chance to show you their other positive traits. You may be pleasantly surprised.
