
Happy May everyone! As we get closer to Summer Solstice, I am feeling more and more rejuvenated. As we gain more daylight hours different areas in our lives become more illuminated, especially those areas that have been in the dark for too long. Last week’s Full Moon in Scorpio opened up some old wounds from the past, which never properly healed. In this case, the “wounds” or patterns are associated with our sense of self-worth. A lot of things we were conditioned to believe as children were never fully processed, and so in the present we may still be dealing with thoughts and beliefs that are holding us back.
This week pay close attention to how you respond to the stressors you come across, especially any that make you feel insecure about yourself. For many of you these “triggers” may be associated with your career and/or relationships–do you feel you have to “earn” love and approval? Are you someone who works hard but has a hard time playing, and relaxing? Do you feel unworthy of receiving nice things? Don’t dismiss any irritation or frustration that comes up this week, because you will have a wonderful opportunity to understand yourself on a deeper level–this newfound awareness will be the key to your healing.
Beginning of the week:
Your inner child has a lot to say this week, and you need to give it space to speak. The more you try to suppress your little self, the more it can throw a “tantrum” which can become harder to deal with down the line. It wants to make you aware of some beliefs and patterns that have been “robbing” you of your joy. There are thoughts playing in the background that are hindering your progress. No matter how hard you try to break through these blocks in the conscious world, they keep coming back. Time to take a trip into your subconscious mind.
Give yourself the opportunity to look into your behaviors and thought-patterns, especially the ones you’ve been wanting to change. Think back to where/when you learned these beliefs. Some of you may benefit from using a creative outlet, such as writing or painting, to help you access those inner layers. You may be surprised by what comes to the surface–this moment will empower you in more ways than you think. And if you feel intimidated about listening to your little self, try getting the assistance of someone like a therapist to help you sort through what comes up.

Middle of the week:
There’s a shift happening with your closest relationships, primarily within your family. Solutions to family challenges may be presented this week. Some of you may benefit from family counseling as a group, especially to help bridge any gaps in communication. Whatever problems you are facing, you can overcome together.
There may be someone in the family who needs a bit more attention and support–I see this being related to someone dealing with a possible illness and/or disability. Don’t take on more that you can handle–ask for what you need with this situation. Help is available if you seek it. You may want to consider hiring help, if you are able to afford it, but even if you can’t there may still be other ways to enlist the assistance you need.
End of the week:
A new pathway is opening up for you. Your roads are open and wonderful things are coming your way. Never lose sight of the silver lining in every situation. There’s always a solution available to you, and you will begin to see (and experience) this as fact in the coming days. I see money and opportunities coming in–possibly news of a new job or client, a solution you hadn’t previously considered–there’s something blessed heading your way.
If you’ve been waiting to move forward with something, you will get the greenlight for that soon. You have every reason to look ahead with optimism, just make sure to keep moving forward.
