We are in the last week of October, can you believe it?! Iconic Halloween (or Samhain) expands the portal that is currently open, into the netherworld. As well, we are currently in the shadow period of Mercury’s retrograde, so all forms of communication may be a little weird, including messages of the spiritual nature.
This week you may experience receiving more opinions than usual. You might find yourself grappling with a decision about your career or financial future, and the messages you receive may only cause confusion versus clarity. Spirit advises you to take your time with this decision and don’t be swayed by what others think or suggest. This should be a decision you make on your own. You can ask for guidance, but don’t just go by what someone else tells you. Also, if you are inclined to receive spiritual messages from your ancestors and spirit guides, don’t feel obligated to just do what you are told–it is safe to question and go against the grain; you have the free will to do so.
Some of you are struggling with a business or brand and are wondering if you should continue with it or not. Remember that “Rome wasn’t built in a day”–if this is something you are passionate about, work on your craft. Think about the longevity of this project, and how it can become a lasting legacy that serves you and others.
Beginning of the week:
Spirit wants me to tell you not to worry–the money is on the way! You may be waiting on a check or some sort of payment–it’s coming! It’s just that some things need to be worked out before it reaches you. But trust that it will get to you in perfect timing! In the meantime if money is tight, you may need to curb unnecessary expenses.
Some of you are worried about not receiving benefits (such as food stamps) in the coming weeks. Rest assured you will be taken care of. Don’t allow fear to weaken your faith. Give your mind a break from worst case scenarios and trying to figure out how you’ll manage. Instead, use your brain to envision abundance and your needs being met in the best possible ways. This may be a good time to incorporate techniques such as positive affirmations into your daily routine.
Middle of the week:
Hmm…I get the feeling that here in the United States there may be some kind of deal reached, regarding the current government shutdown. There’s a sense of harmony and a restoration of balance on the way, so possibly your worries about your financial future will be unfounded in the end. I really only see positive solutions on the horizon for us, and us calling in the fruits of our labors.

Your benefits will come in, the bills will be paid, there will be more than enough to eat—believe it! And to be honest, if you are really worried about what the future will hold, call on spiritual support for miraculous solutions. The Feast Day of one of my favorite saints (St. Jude) is on October 28th. Call on him for support with any dire, financial situations. I can attest that he comes through! End of the week:
In this lifetime so far, I’ve dealt with many moments of financial uncertainty and despair, so I understand how impossible it can feel to get out of. But I want you to trust me when I say this: there is always a solution. You may not know what it is yet, but have faith that there is one. If nothing else, just remind yourself that “there’s always a solution, even if I don’t have it yet”. Or I like to tell myself, “a solution is on the way”. Soon you’ll see that your worries were just moments of anxiety, but they had no power to stop your blessings from making their way to you.
For some of you, something you’ve been working on will soon be paying off–you may be approached by someone in power who can help take your project to the next level. This may be in the form of an influential client–there’s a status upgrade on the way!
